There are some areas women tell us they'd like support with greater fequency then men do. Things like a community to bounce ideas off, increased confidence and impact and the juggle of all life's roles.
Career Empowerment is an online Program with monthly focus areas, a Tool Kit for any-time career how-to and of course that community.
Career Coaching is the most targeted, tailored solution for assistance whether it be with improving job performance, identifying your next career move, interview coaching, negotiating a fantastic salary, etc.
Collectively, our coaches have assisted thousands of individuals to make well-informed choices and effective strides toward either continued or new career paths.
Senior Executives are often more rusty at the job search process than the broader population, yet there are fewer opportunities at a senior level. Our Executive Career Package covers the basics with Tip Sheets, Workbooks, Resume Creation and One on One Coaching.
We have basic through to comprehensive Executive Career Packages that are typically tailored again to suit the individual's readiness and comfort levels. Most programs incorporate identification of next steps, resume preparation for traditional roles and / or consulting, interview coaching (more on this in a moment) and psych testing. For more on the psych testing, see 'Career Assessments' below.
Executive Interview Coaching is perhaps the most valuable use of time for executives. Many executives enter the job market and find that, initially all who they speak with are impressed and hopeful. Then the weeks and months go by without an offer. Why is that? Usually one of 3 reasons:
1. You're selling yourself at too high a level for the position on offer (a wealth of experience if not delivered well can be overwhelming for an interviewer);
2. You're using language that doesn't resonate with the interviewer, perhaps using too much company-specific jargon
3. You're open to such a wide variety of options that you appear to be goal-diffused and not interested enough in the opportunity at hand.
Our coaches are highly experienced at interviewing candidates for executive level positions. As part of our interview coaching process, your coach will dummy-interview you for the type of role you're targeting. They'll then give you feedback - honest and specific feedback. It will go something like this:
"Here's the question I asked you, here is how I understood your answer and here is the sort of answer I wouid expect to hear for a role like this..."
We find that executives on hearing this, are very quickly able to better select the examples they're using in interview, so that they are better understood and acutely pitched for the role they're after. Combined with psych assessment feedback, the CN Consulting Interview Planner and targeted search strategies, executives are far more targeted, better prepared and more confident.
This combination of practical tools and outcome-focused coaching has proven to give our clients a serious competitive advantage.
Online Career Assessments are an excellent way to uncover your strengths and development areas, as well as the potential options for your future career direction. Understand what drives you and how others see you.
Other assessment tools, such as psychometric assessments can be invaluable in preparation for the next step. For individuals who are likely to experience Psych assessments in the job search process, undertaking a psych assessment when it's not job-critical can remove a great deal of that 'fear of the unknown'. Learning what future assessors are likely to uncover in a psych assessment will allow you to be well prepared at interview, to provide examples that adequately counter any concerns
While we love arming people with the tools and skills to create their own resumes we understand that many simply don't have the time to do it themselves. Also, let's face it, creating your own resume can be difficult.

New parents on maternity / paternity leave can feel detached from their teams and employer. They may find that they have new
priorities and shifted work motivators - or they may find that assumption offensive! Our Parental Program is an online resource kit
for confirming direction and making that known, along with support for objective advice. The program is ideally white-labelled, so
that it carries your internal branding and supports your other employee benefits and messages.
We often hear about the additional struggle of managing a career with family commitments. While there are certainly some logistical
issues to work through, there are actually some great career advantages of being a parent too.
Parents often feel that they're asking for a favour, when requesting flexibility or promotion. By helping participants to define
what's most important and boost their comm
THE MATURE WORKFORCE
Our sense of success and satisfaction changes with different life stages. We run Workshops, Webinars and one to one Coach Programs. We help individuals to identify what it is they want and to map out and execute a strategy for achieving it.
This may include leaving a legacy or transitioning to different working arrangements. It may also involve coaching on how to step into a less senior role, without the "you're overqualified" or "you'll be bored" objections, or worse the assumption that their commitment should be questioned.
Catherine has guided me through a difficult transitional period in my career. Her expertise in the area, but also her personable interaction have allowed me to explore sometimes confronting issues and carried me through to a fantastic end result. Her counsel I will again seek.

"I founded CN Consulting in 2007 to work with like-minded clients. Clients who wanted to exceed performance goals by getting the best
from people - either themselves, their teams or both. We've worked with fabulous clients on really cool projects and have seen impressive outcomes.
Our processes were working well. By 2015 though our way of working had changed. We needed to deliver online in order to engage our
clients at the point of impact. So we gathered a wider range of collaborators and launched Gender Gap Gone, our Womens
Leadership & Diversity business, Gender Gap Gone to huge interest. For all the boys who said "Looks great but what about me?", we're
pleased to announce that in 2016 we're kicking off online career management for everyone: Job Snob. With a
stellar team and awesome clients, we're able to continue achieving great results and breaking new ground."
