Outplacement is delivered individually or in a group format.
As part of a role redundancy, outplacement programs help exiting employees to adjust to transition, maintain confidence and to present themselves to the job market in the best possible way. This ensures they secure new roles as quickly as possible.
Our Online Outplacement Program is both low-cost and flexible. The basic program includes videos and a WorkBook on Career Direction, Resume and Interview Skills.
One to one Career Coach Support can also be added to the program, either a nominated number of sessions or support for a defined period of time.
1:1 Individual Outplacement
CN Consulting's One to One Outplacement Programs support individuals through the change process, helping them to assemble an up to date job search tool kit. The job market is currently changing more rapidly then ever before, which can increase the anxiety at an already-daunting time. CN Consulting Career Coaches use a standardised approach to help participants update and navigate their way to a successful outcome.
Programs cover online and traditional resumes, Uncovering / Applying for Opportunities and Interview Coaching. Depending on the length of the program it may also involve coaching the individual through the negotiation process as they accept their new role.
In our experience executives are the least prepared for the job market as they siply don't tend to change jobs as often as the more junior members of the workforce. Concurrently, there are fewer roles and more applicants at the senior end of the market. That is, greater competition with reduced ability to impress.
Executive outplacement programs incorporate assessments, one on one coaching sessions, career direction support, resume advice and intensiuve interview coaching by experienced recruiters with global executive recruitment experience.

Group outplacement programs are not only cost effective, but they can offer participants a number of additional benefits. Workshop participants can be drawn from a mix of roles / backgrounds / levels and frequently report a greater sense of security, hearing they're not the only one on the journey. Held onsite, Group Outplacement Programs also offer minimal disruption with participants being in a familiar environment.
CN Consulting Group Outplacement can be stand-alone workshops on Resume and Interview Preparation, but most often they're combined with at least one One:One meeting to address individual concerns and tips.
